Juma Kimaro at schoolPEN Trust has three new scholarship students in the Dodoma area. Several US sponsors in Minnesota, Maine and Massachusetts are responsible for the addition of these three students. Besides school fees, national and mock exams these students also received mountain bikes and other necessary items to ease their studies.

PEN Trust has a total of nine scholarship students now ranging from 1st grade to 11th grade. Our mission with these scholarships is to provide more than just school fees – we hope to change their situations in small but meaningful ways.

Feed My Starving Children meal packetHow does a student concentrate when they are hungry?

These three students each received a mountain bike to ease their transport troubles – one student rides his bike 13 kilometers each way on a really challenging road taking him more than an hour.
